“Wonderful Wednesdays” meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Its historic success depends on volunteers who can assist our Discipleship Ministries folks to make this ministry thrive! Those who attended Worship a couple of weeks ago, heard Director Sandra Padgett’s explanation and plea, asking us to come together and send “laborers into the abundant harvest” that the Lord has provided. Our ANNNUAL CHARGE CONFERENCEhere at Boling Springs UMC will be held this afternoon. We will be meeting in the Sanctuary, approve our 2023 Operating Budget, elect officers for 2023 and beyond, and transact such other business as shall come before the CONFERENCE. All members of the Church are invited to attend, but only current members of our Church Council are permitted to vote, per provisions of the UM Book of Discipline. Our new District Superintendent, the Rev. Fran Elrod, will preside.

Our BOARD OF TRUSTEES meets this evening. The Board is responsible for the property of the Church, as well as the management of its investment funds, in consultation with the Committee on Financial Ministries. Dr. Elton Hendricks, pastor here at Boiling Springs UMC from 1964 through 1968. There will also be special music, and other surprises.
