Wonderful Wednesday starts back on Sept. 2^nd 2009 6:30-8:30pm. We will offer classes for toddlers to teens and an Adult Bible Study with Pastor Robert.

We are still in need of help in the following classes Recreation (only ½ hour from 6:30 to 7pm each week), Crafts, Media Center (Library), Creative Communication for Christ (Power Points, Photography, Puppets & Plays), Games (Bible Games), Handbells (Volunteer needs to be able to read music), Prayer and Praise and Recreation. We have openings for monthly or weekly volunteers.

1. 1. 5^th & 6^th grade Confirmation Class taught by Wayne and Cindi Culp with special teaching guest. This is a prerequisite class for any young person considering full membership in our church. But the class is also helpful for any young person searching to know Jesus on a more personal level. This class is very helpful in making that transition from preteen to the teen classes.
   2. 3^rd and 4^th graders learn more about the bible and how to use it in everyday life and increase their prayer life bases around the Lord’s Prayer.
   3. Kindergarten thru 2^nd graders will study basic bible stories with an emphasis on the life of Jesus. 
   4. The Toddlers class for 2-3yr olds help our younger children learn about Jesus while learning to play and work together in God’s Family.
   5. Teens will meet for fellowship and bible study called Experiencing God. They will also plan activities and programs helping them participate in the life and work of the Church overall
   6. Our Adults will continue their study in the Book of Mark…..Contact Pastor Reeves for information.
    
   Activities:
   1. Recreation will be offered each week as we help our young people fellowship thru games prepared by our staff enhancing our weekly lessons.
   2. New this year will be a prayer and worship class. We will use include age appropriate lessons, prayer journals, and prayer stations. We hope to soon to be using our new prayer gardens.
   3. Crafts and Service projects are planned to help support our there of God’s Big Back Yard…..We are all steward of God’s Big Back Yard.
   4. Also new this year is a Creative Communication for Christ Class. In which the children and youth will be producing a video for their opening Worship each week using various Media Techniques from computer to movies. Watch for some rising stars for Christ.
   5. Through music we will continue to offer classes in song dance vocal and instrumental training. We are really excited to add children’s hand bell classes this year. This will begin as a basic introduction that we hope will one day soon develop into little ringer serving in many of our worship services.
   6. Community and Church leaders will share their faith stories and how they use their faith in their jobs every day. Some who have volunteered include clowns, firemen, SLED officers complete with robots and dogs. 
   7. Special Programs: Fall Festival in October. Children’s Christmas Program in December and Spring Fling (new) in April.
