Wednesday, December 5th at 6:30 PM - Children's Christmas Program:
 
Our Sunday Church School and “Wonderful Wednesdays” teachers and staff present our Christmas celebration, entitled “THANK YOU FOR CHRISTMAS!” There will also be a “Singing Christmas Tree!” Refreshments will be provided, and all our members and friends are invited to come and help us celebrate! A free-will offering will be taken, and all proceeds will go to help fund our children/youth programs and their mission projects. Sandra Padgett is our Age-Level Ministries Coordinator, Betsy Goodman & Tina Allemond are our Church School Co-Superintendents, and Ben & Melissa Treaster are our Youth Group coordinators. +++ CHILDREN AND YOUTH ARE ASKED TO BE PRESENT BY 6:00 PM +++

Our UNITED METHODIST MEN’S CHRISTMAS DINNER and LADIES’ NIGHT is this evening, in the Family Ministries Building. Come join with us, won’t you? Tonight, M.L. Taylor is our Executive Chef; Wayne Ricard (803-920-7048) is our President, and Hal Hammond is our President-elect.

Suggested donation is $5.00 per child, or bring a new book (children of all ages) to be donated to Nancy K Perry Children’s Shelter.

We’ll have breakfast (pancakes & sausage), games and a Christmas themed movie for the children.

On Saturday December 8th the BSUMC Youth group will be going down to James Island to see the lights and Christmas festivities at the county park. 


We are meeting at the church at 2 PM and carpooling down. If any youth is going please have call or text Ben (803-582-9837) or Melissa (803-210-9583) so that we can have enough cars to make the trip. The cost is $10/kid but as always if money is an issue we’ve got you covered. We will stop somewhere on the way for dinner and should be back at the church by 10 pm

Sunday, December 9th at 3:00 PM Today’s the day for our annual BOILING SPRINGS CHRISTMAS PARADE. Our Chancel Choir and Praise Band will sing carols, our Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will hand out candy, and senior members of the congregation are invited to ride in our “Christmas Remembered” float. Come join us for a great time!!!

 

Wednesday, December 19th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Tonight is our “Wonderful Wednesdays” CHRISTMAS PARTY! All are invited—from our “Little Disciples” up through our adult folks. Come celebrate with us and have a great time!
 
 
Monday, December 24th at 5:00 PM
Our traditional “CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE” is this evening. Our Chancel Choir will present the Christmas Story through song and narration. We will end the Service with the lighting of candles and the singing of “Silent Night, Holy Night!” All are welcome! NURSERY CARE WILL BE PROVIDED!
 
 
 
 
Sunday, December 30th beginning at 9:30 AM F I F T H S U N D A Y S C H E D U L E
Today, being a fifth Sunday of the month, our day will begin at 9:30 AM with Church School for all ages, followed by our combined PRAISE TEAM SONG SERVICE (at 10:30 AM). There will be no 8:30 AM Service this morning. Bring your paper products (facial tissues, toilet tissue, paper towels) for the Nancy K. Perry Children’s Home. We will also dedicate those precious items made by our Hearts & Hands Ministry folks!
