Week 5.....Chapter 4: Hallowed Be Your Name
Tuesday we will cover the material from week 3: In the Heavens …. Developing a Cosmic Perspective. Hope that you can join us.
Last week we enjoyed discussing Chapter 2: Father ….. Experiencing Love and Security.
After looking at the meaning of the word Father both to Jesus’ early disciples and today, we discussed how we are not always secure in the love of the father and often live as if he were a more a Judge than a loving father. In other words, we accept our adoption into the family of God but see ourselves more as servants than family members. We then looked at the impact that this has on our own spiritual formation and understanding of God’s law and grace.
It is our prayer that we will learn to be intimate with Christ, to become deeply like Christ and to live fully for Christ.
